Friability tester with balance & printer interface
29. May 2012The new FT20 is an advanced dual-drum tablet friability tester that has been optimized for fast and efficient handling. Rotational speed of the front-load drums can be flexibly programmed to different speeds.
Designed in accordance with the specifications as laid down in USP and other Pharmacopeia, the FT20 eliminates manual tasks typically associated with the creation of reports - and prevents input errors. The tester can be connected to a standard laboratory balance to automatically record the measured weight at the beginning and the end of a friability test. To ensure ease of regulatory compliance, test reports including statistics can be conveniently printed directly from the tester.
If desired, operators can start tests by choosing from programmed test protocols - reducing setup time to a minimum while ensuring that tests are performed according to defined specifications.
