DISI - Automatic tablet disintegration tester
The DISI is a high-end tablet disintegration tester for professional research and quality control departments. It automatically measures disintegration time of tablets including graphical display of disintegration characteristics over time (curve) for each tablet. Baskets are completely protected against any corrosion and transfer of the signal is contact-free. The DISI is very easy to clean and fully complies with all current USP and EP regulations. Disintegration time and characteristics
During the disintegration test, tablet thickness is continuously monitored and recorded in a 21 CFR, part 11 compliant PC software. The test data is displayed graphically for each tablet and updated with every upstroke of the basket.
Temperature control
In addition to the precise temperature control of the heater module, every basket has its own temperature sensor. Measured temperature is recorded and displayed in the graph together with disintegration data.
Unique measuring principle
Tablet thickness is determined at each stroke using innovative inductive measuring technology. As no mechanical parts or metal flaps are needed for the disks, their design is 100% compliant with USP and EP regulations. All electronics are hermetically sealed inside the corrosion-free baskets.

Easy handling
Handling and cleaning the DISI is easy and very user-friendly. All disks are coded and the software automatically detects whether the correct basket has been used for the test.
