Using intuitive language-independent buttons, the number of operator actions necessary to perform a test are kept to a minimum. Testing time can be quickly set in hh:mm or mm:ss. Thereafter, it is only necessary to press the start key to automatically lower the basket into the test medium and begin or repeat a test. During testing, elapsed time or remaining time is displayed. If required, the test can be paused to visually check the disintegration status. Paused tests can be resumed in case not all tablets have disintegrated. When the set testing time has been reached, the basket automatically raises out of the test medium. To alert the operator on completion of a test, an audible alarm signal is given.

From test setup to cleaning - the DisiTest 20 has been optimized for fast and ergonomic handling. The robust baskets with self-centering magnetic coupling can be conveniently exchanged within seconds and are very easy to clean. To ensure a long product life, baskets are sealed and protected against corrosion.

The DisiTest 20 incorporates a powerful immersion heater / circulator module with adjustable flow that guarantees highest temperature stability (+/- 0.07C) of the water bath. Currently measured temperature and set target temperature are continuously displayed on the integrated LCD screen. Three control buttons and on-screen prompts make setup and operation easy and straightforward. To simplify cleaning, the entire module can be quickly removed.
