| The Dr. Schleuniger Group of companies was founded in 1955. Production and worldwide sales of the model 2E tablet hardness tester began in 1972. In 1990, Dr. Schleuniger Pharmatron AG was formed to focus solely on solid dose testers for the global pharmaceutical market. In the same year a subsidiary was established in the United States at Manchester New Hampshire, with a branch in Puerto Rico, to better serve the North, Central and South American markets. Over 15,000 Dr. Schleuniger Pharmatron testers are in use world-wide. Distributors and factory centers in over 40 countries provide after-sales support to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers. |
